Costa Rica

When we stayed in Costa Rica, we visited Corcovado National Park, one of the hotspots of biodiversity. Corcovado National Park contains 2.5% of the entire world's biodiversity which is insane for a country that small. Our trip was filled with various adventures such as kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking and so on. What we expected to be a sunny trip turned out to be filled with heavy rain.

During our stay, I learned lots about biology. One of my favorite topics we covered was about bees. We learned lots about bees and what role they play in the food web. I learned that bees play such an important role in our ecosystem. Another topic we learned was about turtles and how they function. Learning about these organisms was very fun and I really enjoyed it.

After the trip, I realized how a single organism can have such a big impact on the ecosystem. Overall, the trip turned out to be really fun. I’m very appreciative that I got to visit such a remarkable place. I’m also very thankful to be able to see lots of nature and biodiversity.
