Exploring the world (2019–2025)

With the incredible number of unique and memorable experiences I’ve had in Taiwan, I sometimes can’t believe it’s only been a few years. Born in San Francisco, I moved to Taiwan in 2019, shortly before Covid-19 began. What was supposed to be a short trip to experience traditional Asian culture turned into something much more meaningful.

Taiwan handled Covid-19 exceptionally well — we barely had to do any online schooling, and classes remained uninterrupted. That unexpected change made me realize how much I could grow by living abroad. Now, after more than six years, Taiwan feels like a second home and has opened doors to travel across Asia and beyond.

On this site, I want to capture the essence of these adventures — from quiet lakes and mountain peaks to bustling markets and world cities. My goal is to inspire families to explore, stay curious, and make lasting memories together.
